Nine Nazis nicked in Newcastle

Well, size isn't everything, so don't be too hard on the 85 white supremacists in Newcastle today.
They came from far and wide to stand under new banners and spout the same old rubbish. The master race has never been very bright or attractive, so before the march even started two senior figures in the National Front were arrested.
For one of them, Simon Biggs, it is his first arrest since getting locked up for stealing a pot plant from B&Q a couple of years ago.
The organisers of the march, National Action, had promised to prove they were the main show in town for the British Nazi scene. In the main, it was a bunch of teenage boys clad in black promising they were going to rid the country of Jews to the drunken approval of fat old white men.
There were no surprises when Garron Helm was arrested again. He's probably sat in his cell as we speak writing another pointless apology/love letter. Other than racism, it's what he does best.
Aside from the stupidity of these people, there is a concern about some of the language and the threats they were issuing with regard to in particular, the Jewish and Muslim communities. It does not take a lot of Nazi idiots to be a vicious and disturbing nuisance and cause for concern.
After their rally, many returned to Newcastle city centre where there was some kind of fall out between a foreign contingent which ended with beer glasses being thrust in faces.

Ha! The pretentious, provocative wording on the banner which reads "Only bullets will stop us". An ASBO will do the trick.

Call me old fashioned but I had always assumed that "the master race" would be better dressed.

Can someone explain what an "autonomous Nationalist" is? Sounds like a contradiction in terms to me.

Only bullets :) Looks like a clip round the ear from their mam would stop them.

We saw this in the early 80's with the fascists. The populist, electoral force falters and the openly nazi headbangers take over. Politically they don't represent a threat. The problem comes with violence. Remember David Copeland who was an activist in a small C18 split, roughly equivalent to National Action today.

Some of the more cerebral ones (speaking relatively of course) also find their way into groups like UKIP, forcing them even further towards the racist right whilst the host body is forcing the wider political debate rightwards. We have good cause to celebrate the demise of the BNP and other such groups, but ultimately it is their ideas that must also be beaten.

Well, as a resident of Newcastle..we always like to have visitors. However, ones with more than their Busfare would be nice. Tea anyone?

Is the guy on the far right in the first pic (the one who looks like the keyboards player in an eighties synth band) Kevin Layzell, formely of the BNP?

That banner. Some sort of Spinal Tap sizing confusion?
