Over the weekend we have witnessed the UKIP campaign buckle under the strain following countless accusations and stories regarding the racist, sexist and homophobic nature of some of its supporters and candidates.
Well, never let it be said we take it easy here at Hope not Hate towers, I have just found another UKIP supporter with lots of hatred to share.
Tony Nixon from Guisborough, North Yorkshire is an active UKIP supporter who is currently campaigning on behalf of his party in the Stokesley area of North Yorkshire.
Nixon, who is also a supporter of the EDL has made large numbers of offensive and racist posts on his Facebook page, including sick racist jokes and offensive racist images of US President Barack Obama.
With UKIP supporters canvassing large areas of the nation before Thursday, one has to wonder if UKIP come knocking on your door will it be someone like Tony Nixon asking for your vote?

Potentially very bad news for the English Democrats in Kent, where the police have announced they are launching a fraud investigation ahead of next week's county council elections.
No doubt the party's Kent supremo Steve Uncles will be blaming someone in Scotland/Wales/Northern Ireland for this fine mess the party is facing. One of the nominations that the police are believed to be investigating is that of Anna Cleves, of whom Steve Uncles has removed from his blogsite, a glowing tribute that he wrote of her. I've attached it here, but will say no more other than there does seem to be a lot of EDP candidates with misspelt surnames standing in Kent.. Perhaps Katrina Aragon is also standing for the EDP?
Let's say we were surprised, but not shocked to read the thoughts of UKip candidate Anna-Marie Crampton who is representing the eurosceptic party in Crowborough for the East Sussex County Council elections. it seems that Ms Crampton is not only sceptical about the EU. Ms Crampton formed her world view on Jews and the Holocaust from reading the disgusting and well known forgery known as the Protocols of Zion. Said book also helped Hitler form his opinions on Jews too.
One quoted UKip spokesperson told a news source that "“We need to chase her down. These comments are really way out there and really hard-core anti-Zionism.” In my opinon, they're not. They're anti-Semetic.
Jim Dowson returned to the political arena yesterday, with the announcement that he is one of the brains behind the "Protestant Coalition" that has emerged as a new political party in Northern Ireland. The coalition has stated that it has "no political ambitions" which given Dowson's previous involvement with both the BNP, the EDP and Britain First, is something we could have told people about Dowson in the first place.
What is interesting, however, is that Dowson is currently prohibited by his bail conditions from using or communicating by either telephone or by email. Perhaps he has been using a carrier pigeon instead...
No such election traumas for the British Democratic Party. Having decided that UKip will possibly be too formidable an opponent at these coming elections, the BDP has been busy doing absolutely nothing of any use, anywhere. Many have already spotted the party's obsession with copying everything that the BNP says, but today they took it a step further. Party leader Kevin Scott has started given updates on the birds that he sees during the long walk from his living room to the off license. Perhaps he has decided to be the new Simon Darby? He already annoys most of the former BNP members who back his party in pretty much the say way Darby did too.
Over in the BNP, people will be relived to hear that London regional organiser and pornographer Steve Squire has reneged on his plan to quit. Sadly for the BNP though, the swashbuckling Jack Buckby has left for good and teamed up with the dynamic Paul Weston of UKip/EDL/BFP infamy.
Buckby told the Liberty website that his "vision of the future is a youth that embraces traditionalism, conservatism and is inspired to do something with their life. Now is not a time for handouts, or for making life easy for people who identify as victims. A prosperous Britain requires a population of people who are willing to work hard to do well, and to stand up and be heard if they want to make a change."
Weston has kindly agreed to speak at Buckby's far-right get together in London in June. Weston, somewhat of a clown himself, is speaking on the subject of "British comedy", which will no doubt be a run through of all of the great Bernard Manning gags that the "Cultural Marxists" have banned from the television. My own vision for the future of this youth, Buckby, is more like this arrangement from Spitting Image.
The BNP is said to be preparing a major assault on Buckby's sensibilities over his apparent growing and vocal belief that the party has become a little too Nazi (again). Let’s hope they don’t send Pete Molloy to find him. That idiot can’t even remember where he is meant to be candidate next week.

Nick Griffin and the BNP always like to tell people that they aren't Nazi skinheads and that they are really honest, law abiding citizens.
However, as we all know the reality behind that statement is somewhat different.
Just last week Gary Tumulty and his North West BNP held one of their regular meetings in the Salford area.
Most of those attending were the regular racist dregs who normally attend Tumulty's meetings.
Yet there was two faces who stood out from the rest, Salford brothers Danny and Anthony Robinson.
The Robinson brothers are very much violent Neo Nazi skinheads and have been members of a variety of extreme right wing groups such as The British Freedom Fighters, The British People's Party, The Racial Volunteer Force and The Aryan Strike Force.
At a British People's Party meeting held in London several years ago Anthony Robinson was arrested by police after he was found to be carrying a pepper spray, his brother Danny was also arrested for possession of an offensive weapon.
The brothers have been photographed at a number of meetings of the British Freedom Fighters, whose leader Mike Heaton was jailed for 30 months in 2010 after posting internet messages calling for Jews to be destroyed.
As Nick Griffin desperately tries to hold onto his North West MEP seat that comes up for re-election in 2014, it's interesting to see what sort of activist he will be using delivering his hate filled propaganda.

Those of you old enough, may well recall when the National Front was an enormous street organisation that had serious ideas about actually taking power in this country.
At its peak and at its most dangerous, the NF was led by a formidable double act of John Tyndall (who later formed the BNP) and Martin Webster (who stayed in the NF until 1983 until he was forcibly removed from the party)
Tyndall and Webster were bitter enemies for a number of years as they both blamed the other (and Margaret Thatcher) for the NF's electoral collapse at the 1979 General Election.
Webster had a brief moment back in the spotlight when he entered the vicious BNP leadership contest that saw Nick Griffin replace Tyndall as leader of the BNP in 1999. The rather lurid intervention by Webster can be read by googling his name with Nick Griffin's.
Now considered as somewhat of a (volatile) statesman, Webster has for the last few years been trawling the margins of the political far-right offering his opinions on a number of issues, almost all of which appear to resolve around the world Jewish conspiracy that has driven his world view for over fifty years.
Since Tyndall's death in 2005 and the rise and demise of the BNP in his absence, Webster has found himself welcomed back into many of the same circles that conspired with both Tyndall and later Nick Griffin, to drive him from the far-right, when it suited them, because of his sexuality.
Now Webster appears to have come full circle. He has shared platforms with a number of persons behind the recently formed and still inactive, British Democratic Party, even joining many of them to see the American racist Jared Taylor last week, where Martin contributed with an explosive rant about Jews.
But yesterday his name appeared on the BDP's website, having penned an article for them. The sixty nine year old has lost none of his bite, either. It's a good old fashioned piece of racist scaremongering, the sort the BDP would be distributing if they could get around to actually producing a magazine or newspaper of some sort.
Unable to drum up any new members, the BDP has dug up something rather vile instead.

Pete Molloy often gets a mention on this page, and we're not always that complimentary about him. Don't hold your breath for an apology, either.
Peter has been planning his assault on the electorate in Tudhoe in County Durham for months. He even started a little viral campaign on the internet, reminding people (mainly his fellow members) that he was standing there on May 2nd.
Well, Pete's leaflets have finally hit the electorate. See if you can spot the mistake

One of the few functioning areas of BNP activity appears to be in disarray following the strange resignation by its regional organiser.
Steve Squire, London BNP organiser resigned from his post on Friday of last week, with an announcement being made by London Secretary Donna Treanor on the main BNP website.
As part of the announcement Treanor explained that there was to be an election to decide who would become the new London organiser.
The reason behind Squire's sudden resignation is unclear, however it is thought that Soho sex shop owner Squire is currently undergoing legal and business issues.
Even stranger is the sudden removal of Treanor's post from the BNP website announcing his resignation.
Was it wishful thinking on the part of Donna Treanor or has Steve Squire changed his mind?
Whatever the reason, London BNP is in a poor state of health and we here at Hope not Hate welcome its speedy demise.

Twenty years ago today the black teenager Stephen Lawrence was murdered in Eltham, south London.
Within days of the murder, Stephen's parents Neville and Doreen came to believe that their son's murder was being ignored and that the investigation into his murder was being hampered by the attitudes of the police officers involved.
The Lawrence family believed that their son had been the victim of a racist mob. They had ample reason to believe so too. Stephen was not the first victim of racists in that part of London.
Two years before, Rolan Adams, and his brother Nathan, were standing at a bus stop after going to a local youth club when they were confronted by a gang of more than a dozen white youths, between 16 and 26 years old, who hurled racist abuse at them. They then stabbed Rolan from behind. He started running, and shouted for his younger brother to run. The two were separated as they ran for their lives. Rolan was fatally wounded and did not survive the attack.
There were countless other vicious racist attacks too. Rohit Dougal was murdered in Eltham in 1992 also.
For many, one of the defining factors in the murders was not just racism, but also the activities in the area by the British National Party who had opened a bookshop in the area and also glorified the murder of Adams by holding a march near the spot where he was murdered. They would later attack a march that was protestesting at the murder of Duggal.
Doreen and Neville never let up and never let another racist murder be swept under the mat. Through sheer perseverance they raised the matter of Stephen's murder wherever they could be heard. The family described the attitudes of the police towards them as bordering on contempt.
Nelson Mandela himself came to sit with the family, and then, almost like a steamroller, the Lawrence murder and the resulting Inquiry by William MacPherson, concluded that institutional racism was rife in the police service and in all probability- in other public institutions too.
This of course, did not immediately bring justice to the Lawrence family, but MacPherson's findings and subsequent report, made the name Stephen Lawrence synonymous with the failings of the police, government and society with dealing with racism. Most sharply, with how the Metropolitan police had so failed the Lawrence family and their son, almost solely because of the colour of their skin. My colleague Matthew Collins, who had been an active member of the far right in the area where the racist murders were happening at the time, also made a submission to the Inquiry.
The whole world it seems demanded justice for Stephen Lawrence. The whole world knows that justice did not come immediately and still has not completely.
The arrogant swagger of Stephen's killers when they escaped justice hammered home how there were people in our society who felt wholly immune from justice, solely on the basis of their colour and presumably, the colour of their victim.
Twenty years is a long time. It took nineteen years to convict two of Stephen's killers, the case remains "active" according to the Met Police. Were he alive today, Stephen would be 38. What kind of society he and other ethnic minorities would be living in is hard to judge. A change had to happen, Stephen's murder did not.
Speaking today, surrounded by the Prime Minister and the mayor of London, Stephen's mother remarked that there is still more to do.
She is sadly, absolutely right in saying so. But without her and Neville Lawrence, bereaved parents refusing to lie down and accept institutional racism was just an every day part of life, we would never have made a start.
Twenty years on we must a redouble our efforts and keep demanding a just and fair society for all. That so many of us do is the debt we owe and the commitment we must all make to remember Stephen Lawrence.

Just been sent this photo from today's proceedings in Brighton.
Can you work out which group are the racists and which are the antifascists?

It's not been a great day for the collection of assorted racists and fascists who have gathered in Brighton under the pretence of celebrating St George.
The "celebration" organised by the pensioners of March For England is in reality a gathering of like minded bigots hopeful that they can attack anyone who dare oppose their racist ways.
Well, it seems the plan has backfired slightly, with South East Alliance organiser Paul Pitt aka Prodromou receiving a less than friendly welcome from the Brighton locals.
Behaving in his usual obnoxious way, Pitt and his followers came unstuck outside the Brighton Sea Life Centre when his motley crew marched straight into a group of anarchists who were less than happy to see them.
Now without flags and covered with red paint Paul Pitt isn't a happy camper in Brighton at the moment.

And so once more, hundreds of far-right extremists will attempt to head to Brighton this weekend to try and reclaim the patron saint of England as their own in a “march for England”.
Yes, St George was born in the Lebanon making him probably England’s first migrant worker, but that does not mean much to the far-right. They’re even travelling from Wales for what they are billing internally as some kind of “revenge” attack for the countless humiliations meted out on them in previous years when they have tried to disrupt life in the seaside town.
As on previous occasions, Cardiff based football hooligan and all round loud mouth Jeff Marsh and his friends will be arriving in sleepy Worthing on Saturday afternoon.
Marsh and co are planning and encouraging others to linger like a bad smell around Hove, using the Wetherspoons off George Street as a base from where they hope they can launch some kind of attack on unsuspecting antifascists.
The organisers of the march are desperate to portray it as a peaceful day out, but the reality is, sadly, that many of those going are intent on violent confrontations, and have a history for just that. Last week a small group of drunken far-right thugs were easily repelled from a meeting held in the town by antifascists planning to defend the community from marauding fascists this weekend.
During the last week, a number of far-right activists attached to the South East Alliance (SEA) in London and Essex were visited by the Metropolitan Police and warned about plans they have for causing misery in the town. Whilst the far-right-those of the EDL persuasion, are constantly trying to portray themselves as merely victims of some kind of Islamic-Marxist conspiracy to deny them their rights, from right up and down the country, plans have been made by groups like the English Volunteer Force (EVF) and some sections of what is left of the English Defence League, to link up in the town. A number of pictures of trade union and antifascists activists have also been circulated among the groups.
The EDL’s own leader, the more and more isolated Stephen Lennon who still uses the lie that his name is Tommy Robinson, is advising his four remaining friends not to go to Brighton.
The organiser of the march, Dave Smeeton, of “March for England” has reminded thugs that are planning on attending that the police have already issued a number of Section 60’s. In a number of secret social media groups that Marsh has (incorrectly) convinced himself once again that are free from scrutiny from outsiders, convicted hooligan Marsh instructs people to join him in Hove during the day and avoid the march all together.
Smeeton has very kindly pin-pointed where fascists travelling by car or minibus can park for free. Mark McCourt from Essex, who thinks that kidnapping is a way to deal with people he and friends do not find acceptable, has also written where exactly his friends should look to park in and around town.
The 'Infidels' also have their own plans. According to an insider, they will arrive in Brighton on Saturday afternoon and on the day of the march, plan to dress in black and mingle with antifascist protesters on Brighton beach. So anyone around the beach area need to keep their eyes peeled.
I’m relaying it here so that anyone who is interested in visiting the coast this weekend can do so without running into these racist thugs.

You may recall the odd couple of David Jones and Claire Khaw. They were destined for great things. Then it all went wrong for them and they fell out. Jones even started up a campaign to have Khaw deported from the country. In response, she mentioned a few things about David's work ethic, hygiene, wonky keyboard etc, etc.
We gave up paying attention to it because a new series of infomercials just started on one of the more obscure cable channels.
Still, the war went on. A sort of war of the roses you might think, but not really. Single mother and former BNP member Claire has a record of insulting the disabled and single mothers ("sluts" the single mother-herself calls other single mothers!) And if she thought it would get her a mention anywhere at all, she'd probably campaign to have herself deported too, anyway.
Just lately they have both had run-ins with the law. For gun-toting village idiot Jones this is nothing new. He has long had associations with organisations and individuals who are better off locked out of harm's reach.
Khaw's recent arrest was for allegedly making comments about a person with disabilities.
Party leader Watmough had fallen out with Jones over his friendship with Khaw, Watmough obviously took exception to Khaw's ethnicity, despite the fact she had helped leaflet for his tiny party whilst trying to get Jones elected to council for Watmough's party.
Now Jones is claiming that Khaw may have been behind the raid on Watmough, no doubt by way of a pay-back. It should be interesting.
Our tip is, perhaps someone should ask Watmough what it is that he tells the police and benefits agency that has allowed him to avoid both work and justice for so long.

When the far-right gets angry, it turns up unannounced at a particular place to cause misery and mayhem. They call their surprise arrival, a "flash demonstration", often so that local pub landlords cannot barricade their pub's door in time to keep the racist trash out in advance of their arrival.
Usually, it's a small town that's left defenceless and unprepared against their moronic and racist beer swilling.
Thankfully for the people in South Shields, their local cretin-corps is under the command of John Riley, from Sunderland. Riley leads the EDL's splinter the English Volunteer Force (EVF) in the region.
Riley was recently told to "do one" by the EDL so has been busily preparing a "flash" demonstration of his own to prove he and his band of "Volunteers" are a force to be reckoned with.
He's also done a nice little flyer to promote his "surprise" demonstration.
So, remember to look surprised when Riley turns up outside a pub in South Shields with his gang of drunken morons shouting racist abuse at ordinary members of the public.
John, you're a real trooper. They don't call you "flash" for nothing. In fact, not at all...

Terrible events in Boston last night. People everywhere jumping to conclusions, some with a sickening glee in their hearts as they try to create more hatred and division after the events.
This morning, our small minded fascists on this side of the pond have been up early, to try using a picture of a young blond child that they claim died in the Boston explosions.
The child in the picture, in fact, was nowhere near Boston. The picture has been taken from the Joe Cassella 5km run in Virginia. Her vest clearly displays which run she was on. The far-right just stole a picture of a child, any (white) child that they could, in a sick attempt to somehow reaffirm in people'sminds that it is only white people who are victims of terrorism. The US President has already said that still, there is no clue to the person or persons behind the explosions.
These people, trying to cash in on true misery are sick. They do not even have one ounce of decency.

Racist thug Gil Gould has laid his cards on the table and declared his support for UKIP.Gould, the pint sized loudmouth from the floundering EDL has been quiet over the past few months due to a very public fallout with Paul Pitt and his ragtag South East Alliance. The Essex based bigot received a numbers of threats of violence from members of the SEA, who declared that Gould had picked the wrong side in the dispute. Gould, who attended an EDL meeting in Ipswich over the weekend said of UKIP " Gotta be done, drop all the others, this lot could actualy have a say at the next election, they could have last time if you had all listened." I'm not sure what UKIP will make of Gould's support for their party, I would be fairly certain that they would be fairly uncomfortable with his EDL links and his love of collecting Nazi memorabilia. Gould uses the Facebook name Mick Wittman after his hero Michael Wittman, a German Waffen-SS tank commander responsible for the deaths of large numbers of allied soldiers in World War 2.

Whilst Hope Not Hate activists have been out and about this weekend campaigning against fascists, the BNP and the British Democratic Party (BDP), continue to fight among themselves instead of taking their message to the electorate.
The 2013 County Council elections could not have come at a worse time for the BNP or their devil-spawn, the BDP. For the last few months the BNP has been proudly trumpeting their ongoing survival, reassuring those who will listen, that the party is in fantastic shape due to not just the supposed good work of its treasury department, but also that the party has benefited from members dying.
Indeed, as the BNP does like to remind people in its constant emails on the subject of their own good health, leaving the BNP your worldly goods upon your own death, makes you a “British hero”.
It used to be winning elections that made its members heroes in the eyes of the BNP leadership, but nowadays as it fights for its survival, as has been said before, it does seem to prefer its members dead.
Last week the BBC’s Newsnight program invited the BNP onto the show to discuss why and where exactly, all of the BNP’s candidates have gone. They declined the invitation, probably a first for the party that normally has scant regard for the humiliation that normally follows even the most light hearted grilling.
Instead of sending the usual smirking and sweaty Nick Griffin, or even the bullish bore that is Simon Darby, the party sent a written statement instead. Yes, yes, the BNP has considerably less candidates than last time, but they did point out that they had recently been left £200,000 by a dead member.
Only a week before, Griffin had gone onto a radio show at the Jewish Free School to champion his admiration for a Holocaust Denier. I guess it’s easier these days for the BNP to tell lies about six million people than it is about the state of their party.
In the absence of the BNP, Griffin’s former friend and fellow MEP Andrew Brons took the opportunity to get himself onto television instead. Brons is President of the rival BDP a party that is desperately short of publicity (and activists).
Brons however missed his opportunity to promote his hardline alternative to the BNP and even have a proper dig at Griffin’s BNP, by continually flapping his papers at the camera in a pointless show of Aryan pedantry instead. He flapped so hard during the mention of the Holocaust, for a moment I thought he was going to rise like a Phoenix from the ashes and actually fly away.
That neither the BNP or the BDP could raise a candidate for the Doncaster Mayoral Election surprised many people. The BNP is even appealing for members to send them in stamps, they have so few people left to deliver their leaflets in these elections.
Dave Owen was apparently quite prepared to stand for the BDP, but instead is standing for the National Front. Fair to say, that standing for either party gives an idea of Owen’s ambition-or lack of it.
In an article about the BNP’s poor showing, the BDP wrote that even they experienced “a mixture of emotions, not least of which is sadness; that is distress over the current dire state of what was once a great party.”
The BDP’s own shortcomings in the electoral department, managing only three candidates for the County Council elections, is a mixture of truth and lies. The BDP was launched more than year later than many, including its leader Kevin Scott, thought it should have been. As well as flapping, President Brons likes to procrastinate also. The party’s steering committee was certain that it could raise at least fifty candidates of their own, which they then modified to twenty once the interest (or lack of) in the party was revealed at its eventual launch, where some 120 fewer people bothered to turn up than at a meeting the year before where the birth of the BNP splinter party was first planned.
Unlike the BNP, which preached it needed to fight on against the backdrop of an anticipated UKip steamroller, Scott and others were cautious enough to caution against expecting any kind of decent result in the climate. But as Scott did write, in an article titled “Why we fight”, “You (also) fight elections to spread the word and build an electoral profile that is worth supporting in the future
“I am firmly opposed to standing candidates willy-nilly and prefer this cautious approach..”
This cautious approach is obviously despite the party offering very, very heavily subsidised election leaflets to anyone that did want to stand, regardless of their chances, as not everyone on the party’s steering committee shared Scott’s cautious pessimism. We understand that one prospective BDP candidate in the South West even went as far as getting her nomination forms filled in before deciding that the BDP just lacked any certain ambition, even the “willy-nilly” variety.
Scott sees the BDP as potentially his long term political home, so the lack of desperation while he is still its leader is perhaps understandable for him. Others on the party’s steering committee, those who have always favoured other people doing their dirty political work, don’t necessarily share the same view. The panic that engulfed some of the committee just so that it could actually register in time and under the name “Brit Dems” was aggravated by Scott’s apparent reciprocal disinterest. While others in the BDP leadership wanted to challenge and antagonise the BNP electorally, Scott has spent more time antagonising Nick Griffin’s close friend Patrick Harrington on social media.
In particular, Scott has antagonised Harrington not only over the BNP’s constant begging for people’s worldly goods to be bequeathed to them, but also about the alleged quality of the BNP’s supposed “excellent” treasury team. Harrington, who always bites, describes Clive Jefferson as an excellent treasurer, Scott describes him as something completely different. Meanwhile, the BDP’s website remains severely underdeveloped and plans for a party periodical appear to have been put on hold for the time being.
The English Democrats may be about to disintegrate completely. The 394 candidates that they promised, failed to materialise. We're not alone either in questioning among ourselves, the validity of some EDP candidates that did manage to stand.
Not only is the party (surprisingly) struggling due to the enforced absence of Jim Dowson
Despite the party's long standing dislike of both the Irish and Unionists, their Barnsley branch was out flag waving in defence of the Union Flag and Ulster Unionists in Barnsley yesterday. Word is, a section of the EDP in Yorkshire could even be about to follow the lead of some of those in Essex and return to the BNP very soon, leaving poor Chris Beverley with lots of unsold tickets to the EDP St George's Day dinner.

A number of far-right thugs tried to make their way onto Trafalgar Square during yesterday's mobilization of anti-Thatcher activists.
This one youtube video shows thugs trying to make their way onto the square without being filmed, finishing with therm lashing out at the cameraman.
Earlier, people attached to the EDL's rivals in the South East Alliance also filmed themselves attacking a young man in a pub.

Rumour is that Pete Molloy, the BNP's blazer wearing layabout, has not filled in his nomination papers correctly to stand in Tudhoe in County Durham, in next month's elections.
We're just waiting for confirmation, but the word is that the curse of Adam Walker has struck even his dear old friend Pete, who left the paperwork up to Adam.
How the two of them could possibly have managed such a cock-up is beyond us. Neither of them appears to have much to do other than laze about. The only work Molloy has actually done, is leaflet the ward, so failing to stand after even doing a great little jpeg he hoped would go viral is a mystery.
My colleague wrote yesterday that there really is an unpleasant campaign developing in the party for senior members' to scupper one another.
Let's hope it is just a vicious rumour emanating from the party's offices in Wigton and is not really true....

Buckby was adamant that accusations that the BNP are not-so-secret anti-Semites and Holocaust deniers were probably, some kid of lefty plot. Today, Buckby has actually quit the BNP after the party accused UKip of being part of the world Zionist conspiracy.
Jack had been angrily banging away on his keyboard to respond to the particularly unsurprising article about the world Jewish conspiracy, and found himself being ignored. So, off has gone Jack in outrage. He won't be missed...
Anyway, in case you missed it Jack, here's Griffin banging on and on about how much he admires Holocaust denier and liar David Irving, to Jewish school children, just the other day.
Also leaving the BNP is Dean Hartley, their young firebrand organiser in Scotland. Hartley, a keen Celtic supporter, has decided the time is right to quit the BNP and fight the "reds" on the streets.
Word in the BNP is that Hartley is actually experiencing something not too dissimilar to Buckby, and his anger has been triggered by a series of tweets by Nick Griffin congratulating Celtic's bitter rivals, Glasgow Rangers, on winning the Scottish Third Division.
Given Celtic's historic ties and links with the Irish and catholic community, that Hartley lasted as long as he did is some surprise. The photo used here on this website of Hartley with his hero, Celtic's Anthony Stokes, most upset the club and the player when Hartley's BNP links came to light.
Stokes recently also attended the funeral of Real IRA leader Alan Ryan, seemingly embarrassing the football club, but not Hartley. I doubt he'll be invited to join the Green Brigade just yet, however. Hartley has decided he's quite keen on the tiny Britiannica Party, who are themsleves hardline Protestants and Loyalists.
Nominations close at midday tomorrow for the 2013 County Council Elections. Exactly how many candidates the far-right manages to rustle up wil give us a fair indication as to their real and current state. Whatever happens, one thing is sure, there is probably about to be another huge bloodletting at the BNP.
The master of self-preservation, Adam Walker, is supposed to be the Yorkshire Regional Organiser and that the party has failed to stand in another election in the region is causing some anger. Word at the party HQ is that Adam rarely leaves home these days since his driving ban and so did absolutely nothing to secure a candidate for the upcoming Doncaster Mayoral election.
Walker has predictably blamed the party's hapless elections officer Alwyn Deacon who has in turn blamed former Yorkshire Regional Organiser, Danny Cooke. Marlene Guest, a woman scorned by being overlooked in favour of Walker, has been on the phone to Nick Griffin blaming all of them, with more than a little help in stirring the pot from Clive "The Undertaker" Jefferson.
If the BNP has no candidate, your guess is as good as my Jack Russell's as to where this leaves the rival British Democratic Party (BDP). Now registered as "Brit Dems" for electoral purposes, the world-wise BDP has been cautioning themselves about electioneering at the moment, what with the sudden popularity of UKip; that and the fact they do not appear to have any activists. Whether the National Front stand or not is quite irrelevant, though it will be between them and the English Dems as to who runs the most irreverent campaign.
The result from Wigan tonight was not much better for the BNP. They came last with 63 votes, in Pemberton with 3.3%.

Just as UKip members were excitedly slapping each other on their collective backs in excitement about their future electoral prospects, the EDL's Stephen Lennon, also known as Tommy Robinson, comes out and says that he supports them.
Were UKip a submarine, you'd probably hear their leader Nigel Farage, barking "dive! dive! dive!"
In an interview with Lennon, the influential blogsite 'Backbencher' has written how Lennon has told them that he believed that his gang "shared a platform with UKIP on immigration and on Islam."
Lennon's very well qualified to discuss immigration. He's still on a tag having only just been released from prison for immigration offences of his own.
According to Lennon, UKip is "saying exactly what we say, just in a different way – do you know what I mean?"
Well, if he is referring to how the EDL normally represent themselves, a quick glance here should put some perspective into that claim.
Unlike the BNP's Nick Griffin, UKip leader Nigel Farage will probably not welcome the support of the criminal leader of drunken thugs that is and are Stephen Lennon and the EDL. Interestingly, Lennon does not appear to be such a fan of Farage as he is Lord Pearson, the party's former leader.
Apparently, Farage doesn't rant about Muslims enough for Lennon.
Lennon has also called upon the BNP, National Front, British Democratic Party and English Democrats to "stand aside" and allow UKip to capitalise on anti-immigration sentiment. That certainly appears to be happening with the BNP. Rumour is they cannot even raise a candidate for the Doncaster Mayoral election.
The last party that Lennon backed, the British Freedom Party, gave up the ghost just before last Christmas.
Accordingly, UKip are themselves not very happy to have a thug and criminal of Lennon's calibre backing them. Backbencher writes that "The feeling is clearly not mutual," but then goes on to claim that the EDL is itself a political party.
Just a reminder folks. It is not. it is a criminal gang. And Stephen Lennon is not the Messiah, either.
He's a criminal thug, and UKip had better beware.
