Meet Wayne Hornby. Last Sunday night Wayne had just left the Spotted Dog pub in Barking when he became involved in an altercation on the bus with men that he believes to be Romanian Gypsies, or Roma.
He was accused of being racist to a woman on the bus just before the incident started. He has denied being racist at that time and at any time since. He says he is not a racist. He says he is the victim in this case, and it appears that the police from Barking have given him the benefit of the doubt.
Indeed, there's nothing wrong with giving the benefit of the doubt to people, even seemingly unpleasant people who were just leaving the favourite watering hole of both the BNP and the EDL in Barking. Even unpleasant people can be caught up and be the victims of an assault.
Of course, the police may not have seen the swastika tattoo on Wayne's hand, or been privy to Wayne's personal thoughts, which he has kindly shared on social media too. This youtube video is quite revealing to say the least.
But, Wayne has told the police that he is a peace loving individual who just goes around town minding his own business and wishing no harm on anybody.
It appears, then, that there is nothing to see here. A man with Nazi tattoos (including the name of a Nazi terror group) on his body is the victim of an assault by bloody foreigners. It happens all of the time, apparently. It requires no further investigation.
Move along please.

A story appeared in the weekend's on line edition of the Daily Mail reporting an argument over the true nature of a "salute" given to a camera by British soldiers allegedly serving in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
The allegation is that a Nazi salute was given by members of the British army. It is truly disturbing.
Last week we also highlighted other cases of extremism apparent in a small minority of serving soldiers.
The Ministry of Defence is always at pains to play down or explain away the behaviour of a small minority in the military. The British military is stationed in some of the most culturally sensitive and volatile areas of the world, so it is understandable when people raise concerns about the behaviour of that small minority. Such behaviour could very well put at risk the lives of their colleagues and also raises concerns about their behaviour towards the civilian population.
Here at home, the British army has long been the target for far-right extremists. The English Defence League has had an appalling habit of trying to cash- in and capitalise on both the extraordinary courage of service men and women as well as sadly, tragedies that befall them.
The British National Party (BNP) is no exception, either. One of its more active members is Peter Molloy originally from Merseyside, now resident of Spennymoor in County Durham.
Wherever there is an opportunity for Molloy to dress up in military garb and paraphernalia he obliges. Molloy is a member of a political organisation, an extremist organisation, whose members are already banned from serving in a number of sensitive jobs because of it. The prison and police services in particular are sensitive enough to not allow members of the BNP in their employment.
This has not stopped Molloy, however, from volunteering to help with the Army Cadet Force-a sort of military boy scouts, in Spennymoor. This is despite the fact that Molloy belongs to a political party that regularly denies the rights or the bravery of British soldiers solely on the basis of their race of religion.
In particular, Grenada- born Victoria Cross winner Johnson Beharry was derided by the BNP, claiming that he was only awarded the Victoria CRoss (VC) for his immense bravery because he was black. On a number of occasions, the BNP has also attacked (in writing only, obviously) the Ghurkha regiment, one of the most popular regiment's of the British army. The BNP has called them "mercenaries".
Last week my colleague picked up another story of the BNP, again, abusing the Ghurkhas. Lynne Mozar who reads the BNP's own (sick) version of the news for party members in her "The World at 8" internet show, claimed again, that they were little more than "mercenaries", despite their undying loyalty and bravery for the crown for nearly two hundred years.
Quick to jump to the BNP's defence was of course, Molly, the self styled officer of the "British Veterans' Group" a BNP front group for racist ex-soldiers. He denied that Mozar spoke for the BNP, which is a bit like the BBC denying the content of their evening news program represented the BBC.
Molloy not only "educates" young minds in his local Army cadets, he also regularly appears next to self-styled paramilitaries like the Combine ex-Forces (CXF), a drink and drug addled assortment of wannabe paramilitaries and thieves, who once threatened to shoot police officers on a demonstration in London.
The young people in the Army Cadets ay well go on to chose a career in the military. That is their choice. If they choose to do so, in representing our country, they should do so without prejudices that jeopardise not only the safety of people in their care, but also that of their colleagues, wherever they may come from. The evidence suggests, that in the case of the BNP, that is not possible because they have neither respect nor regard for people of colour or people of different religions.
It's time that people like Molloy were told to leave our kids and our military alone. Young minds in particular, do not need the sort of poison the BNP spews about people of colour.
nb: we have covered the faces of the cadets in the picture.

It wouldn't be the first time but the BNP have launched another stinging attack against The Gurkhas.
Much loved in the UK, The Gurkhas have been part of the British Army for almost 200 years.
Following the partition of India in 1947, an agreement between Nepal, India and Britain meant four Gurkha regiments from the Indian army were transferred to the British Army.
Since then, the Gurkhas have loyally fought for the British all over the world, receiving 13 Victoria Crosses between them.
More than 200,000 fought in the two world wars, and in the past 50 years they have served in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Borneo, Cyprus, the Falklands, Kosovo and now in Iraq and Afghanistan.
But unlike the British public, the BNP hate anyone who isn't white, Anglo Saxons and into that category falls The Gurkhas.
In 2009, BNP leader Nick Griffin labelled them as "mercenaries" and ex deputy leader Simon Darby claimed there was no room in the UK for them.
Yet, despite condemnation by The British Legion, the BNP have continued with their slurs against The Gurkhas.
Today, on the BNP's hate filled podcast, "The World At 8" the presenter, failed European candidate Lynne Mozar has launched a disgusting attack against these brave soldiers.
Once again calling them mercenaries, Mozar claims that The Gurkhas aren't interested in fighting for The UK but are really only interested in fighting for the money.
She describes them as pretty average soldiers and "very foreign" reiterating the call to block them from settling in the UK.
Mozar even goes on to attack the British attitude towards The Gurkhas as "namby pamby" claiming that The Gurkhas are taking over the NHS in the areas that they live and monopolising the schools that their children attend.
She goes on to complain that The Gurkhas and their families refuse to integrate, claiming that live like they are in a hut on a mountainside in Nepal with their front door open, allowing their kids to play outside all day.
Mozar claims their houses stink of "greasy curry" and if you had to move into a house where a Nepali family onced lived you would have to leave the windows open for a year to get rid of the smell of their food.
If she wasn't content with all of this poisonous bile, Mozar describes The Gurkhas and their families as " ugly flat faced little people" who interbreed and the Gurkhas who come to the UK as "another influx of idiots and retards"
Given the choice between a Gurkha or Lynne Mozar I know who I would rather have as my next door neighbour.

On Wednesday we revealed that a leading Polish extremist Robert Winnicki is intending to take part in a speaking tour of the UK this weekend.
Winnicki, a far right, homophobe has encounterd some difficulties since we posted the story, with the Aberystwyth Student Union issuing a statement distancing themselves from Winnicki and his hateful views. Aberystwyth University has also banned Winnicki and his followers from any of their University premises.
Some of the local pubs have also banned Winnicki and his supporters from meeting in their premises.
Well done Aberystwyth, never been but it sounds a great place.
To make matters worse it also appears that the Bristol venue that Winnicki planned to use has also been cancelled.
However, Winnicki and his friends aren't the only Polish fascists on the streets of the UK at the moment. We have just had these photos sent to us from a few days ago that show a small group of Polish NOP (Narodowe Odrodzenie Polski) supporters on the streets of Norwich handing out leaflets in support of Greek Neo Nazis Golden Dawn.
That's right, Polish Nazis supporting Greek Nazis in Norfolk.
NOP are a violently anti semitic, racist and homophobic party who's biggest supporter is BNP leader Nick Griffin.
Griffin is currently on a charm offensive with Polish fascists, inviting some members of the NOP to speak at the recent BNP conference.

It's been a busy week for the far-right. There may not be many of them but they have been holding lots of (near empty) meetings. Salford and Cumbria had BNP meetings last night, while earlier in the week, Nick Griffin tried to squeeze a few quid out of what is left of his Trafalgar Club slush fund.
Tomorrow the BNP will be in Barnsley trying to raise some money for their Yorkshire Euro election bid. Nick Griffin will be joined there not just by Adam Walker, but it appears the NF too, who want to attend and convince people to join them instead.
Tomorrow evening should be interesting whatever happens. Walker still believes he will be number one on the BNP's candidate list come the elections. I'm sure that pleases Marlene Guest no end..
Not such good news for what is left of the EDL however. It appears the Eva Hart pub in Dagenham are none too happy to have just been told the EDL are planning on having a meeting there on Sunday afternoon.
It's a crucial meeting for the local EDL group too, it seems they're a few shillings short for their planned trip to Exeter and desperately need the money.

A Polish extremist linked to homophobia and anti-Semitism will embark on a speaking tour of the UK starting tomorrow Hope not Hate can reveal.
Robert Winnicki in conjunction with a UK based right wing Polish organisation Patriae Fidelis will take part in a 4 date tour of the UK, starting tomorrow in Cambridge.
Winnicki is the honorary president of Młodzież Wszechpolska (MW) which translates as The All Polish Youth Movement, an organisation that has been widely condemned as homophobic by various organisations including Amnesty International,Human Rights Watch as well as a number of Gay Rights organisations such as OutRage! and the Polish Campaign Against Homophobia.
The United Nations have also condemned MW describing them as an "extremist homophobic grouping"
MW have gained notoriety due to their staunch opposition of abortion and homosexuality with their opposition leading to violent clashes with Pro-choice and Gay Rights demonstrators.
In 2004, 2005, and 2006, members of MW violently attacked people who were taking part in pro-gay demonstrations, throwing eggs, bottles and stones at them, and were reported to have shouted "Send the fags to the hospital", "Perverts, get out of Kraków", "Let's gas the fags" and "We'll do to you what Hitler did to the Jews".
In April, MW said a historian’s claims that Jews helped perpetrate the Holocaust were “factual” and “necessary.” Winnicki, speaking about controversial historian Krzysztof Jasiewicz said that his claims were "far from politically correct but his statements are supported by historical facts".
In 2006, Polish authorities launched an investigation after a video recording from a party was leaked to the Polish press. In the video, MW members were seen mixing with Neo-Nazi skinheads, listening to Neo-Nazi bands, and saluting the swastika.
MW was formed in 1922 as an idealogical youth organisation with extreme nationalistic tendencies. It openly praised Hitler, Mussolini and favoured economically boycotting Jews, limiting their access to education and actively campaigned for segregation.
It is known that BNP chairman Nick Griffin is also a fan of Robert Winnicki.
Winnicki will be in Cambridge, Thursday evening at The Polonia Club, Friday at The Old College, Aberystwyth, Saturday in Bristol at the Polish Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady Of Mercy and finally Sunday sees Winnicki speak in London at the Polish Catholic Centre in Putney.

The National Front is a sick organisation. The current group running it seem to have nothing if not an illustrious background in spouse abuse, alcohol abuse, racist abuse, child abuse and animal abuse.
Peter "Sid" Williamson has spent the last few weeks banging on and on about how much he hates Jews. Nothing knew there, it's what people like Pete and his moronic friends do to survive. Then there is the hatred of Muslims, described as "animals" by most of the far-right in this country. This is despite that fact it is widely rumoured that Williamson has a Turkish wife and he work's in her family's kebab house.
Now it turns out that one of Pete's best friends and racial comrades has gone on the run for a variety of reasons best described by his best friend.
If you do see this fine "patriot" down Brighton way, call the police. History says their outraged racial comrades never do.

Yesterday, A 25 year old Ukrainian engineering student, Pavlo Lapshyn appeared at the Old Bailey and pleaded guilty to the murder of an 82 year old Muslim, Mohammed Saleem.
He murdered the elderly grandfather in cold blood, stabbing him in the back three times as he made his way back home from his local mosque.
The reasons behind the murder? Lapshyn wanted to spark a race war because he hated anyone who wasn't white.
Mohammed Saleem wasn't his only intended victim, Lapshyn planned to kill and maim hundreds of innocent men, women and children as they attended their places of worship during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Ukrainian planted bombs at three West Midland mosques and it is only through sheer luck that no one was killed. One bomb, packed with nails and shrapnel left at a mosque in Tipton was located near to the car park with the intention of hitting worshippers as they arrived for their daily prayers. Carnage was only avoided because the time for prayers advertised on the mosque’s website was changed by an hour because it was Ramadan.
Pavlo Lapshyn pleaded guilty to murder, as well as plotting to cause explosions near mosques in Walsall, Tipton and Wolverhampton in June and July and is due to be sentenced on Friday.
Hope not Hate will be covering Pavlo Lapshyn's trial and sentencing in greater detail in the latest issue of our magazine.

Well, only if you're feeling let down by Stephen Lennon leaving the English Defence League (EDL), that is.
Griffin was being interviewed by Adam Walker for BNPTV when he appealed to the EDL's remaining "scum" (as described by Lennon) to join the BNP.
Walker, probably being over taxed having to do some work-even if the questions were written down for him, lauded Griffin for his years of failure in the British far-right. Walker, banned from teaching for chasing young boys down the street and slashing their bicycle tyres with a knife, even told Griffin apropos Griffin losing his job as an MEP next year, how he wants to knock the heads off of people who did not vote BNP.
Moving swiftly on, Walker then claimed that after years of far-right activity, Griffin has made "virtually nothing" from his time in the far-right. Some BNP ex-members may wish to remind Adam of the extension on Griffin's home paid for by the BNP and the fact that he managed to get almost his entire family on the party pay roll doing jobs that members used to do voluntarily.
Griffin of course, talking about Lennon's departure from the EDL, claimed that Lennon's 5% in a recent "who speaks for England" poll would now be his 5% (giving him a perplexing 11% in BNP world), but most of all it's the money that Griffin wants:
Claiming that Lennon was now working with "fake moderate Muslims" and leaving his followers "broken hearted", Griffin described Lennon as previously having "some style" and "union jack socks", before launching into a tirade about how much money Lennon made from EDL merchandise.
It's not Lennon's 5% he's after at all, it's the thousands and thousands of pounds that people believe Lennon and his cousin Kevin Carroll squirreled away in cash from the sale of EDL merchandise.
So maybe Griffin will be opening a market stall flogging EDL merchandise when he loses his job as an MEP.
Bu Nick, no amount of tatty merchandise can mend a broken heart, but in the words of the Barking Bard “you can put the hoover 'round if you want to make a start”.

Little Jack Renshaw is not enjoying Manchester. Never mind the fact that it apparently rains everday [what could be more English than the rain, anyway?] Jack's got a bee in his bonnet about being late for lectures because it is the Muslim festival of Eid.
This has nothing to do with the fact that little Jack gets up late, apparently it is more to do with the fact that there are too many Musim drivers/not enough Muslim drivers, at one particular cab company. He is now having a one man boycott.
Chances are that after they've read this, few if any taxis in Manchester will pick him up anyway!

The recent overnight conversion of Tommy ‘New Era’ Robinson has left many bemused and questioning whether someone who has been at the centre of agitation over the last 4 years can suddenly change. Or take the fact that Tommy’s financial assets have been frozen as reported in the Guardian yesterday. Or take the fact that this article in the Guardian highlights some questions around the sustainability of an Organisation on the back of the Damascene conversion of Robinson. Whatever the reality, there is one thing that cannot be disputed and that is the legacy of hate that Tommy Robinson has promoted over the last 4 years towards Muslim communities. Now, he may argue that he was against ‘Islamist extremism,’ though on-line and street based statements by him included threats and abuse against Muslims.
We have listed a word cloud which represents words that have a higher frequency in on-line cases, as being larger in size and the word cloud really is self-explanatory. This is the legacy of Tommy’s agitation in the last 4 years and one of our colleagues went through all of the on-line cases of anti-Muslim prejudice recorded in TELL MAMA and mapped the terms according to their frequency. So Tommy, here is your legacy over the last 4 years
As can be seen, many cases include references to the EDL or English Defence League. Much of the language includes negative responses such as ‘kill’, ‘war’, ‘muzzrat’ and ‘hate’, as well as racist terminology that is also mixed in with the anti-Muslim statements. ‘Paki’ for example comes up on numerous occasions which also brings us back to the fact that police forces need to be able to distinguish cases that have both a racial and religiously aggravated basis.
Finally, if this is the legacy that Tommy Robinson wants to leave behind, then there is one word to say – rehabilitation. He needs to payback to communities before he is rehabilitated. We have listed the first step here and continue to wait to see whether this is a real shift in mentality and a rejection of Far Right ideology or a cynical manipulation of the public so that he can continue to lead some form of a life.Tell Mama

Our old friend EDL Abdul has been arrested once again, this time at the EDL demo in Bradford.
Abdul Rafiq is a regular face at EDL demonstrations and is often dragged out by various numpties in the EDL who use him as a tool to try and prove they aren't a racist organisation.
Rafiq himself is known to spew hate whenever the opportunity arrives, he himself has been banned from all football matches for five years after being convicted for sectarian hatred at a Glasgow Rangers match in 2011.
EDL Abdul is used to an inside of a police station, just like his many bigotted friends in the EDL

The EDL are in Bradford today, some 300 of them will march at 13.30hrs
The whole city appears to be in lock down while the EDL appear to be drunk as usual. There have been two arrestes so far, we believe as a result of internal arguments.
Their march will be aproximately 11 metres long, that's 36ft and 1 inch in the old language...

Next month old-timers will bang on about what they were doing 50 years ago when they heard John F Kennedy had been shot.
(In my first school class, being told to stop picking my bogies and pray for an American I’d never heard of, if you must know.)
Somehow I doubt that 50 years on from this week, many people will be recalling their actions on hearing that Tommy Robinson had quit as leader of the English Defence League.
But if you’d switched on Sky TV or tuned into BBC radio on Tuesday teatime you’d have thought a political colossus was exiting the world stage.
Until you heard him explain why.
And realised it was just a confused, inarticulate, former jailbird who doesn’t fancy leading a shower of racist (in my words) scum (in his words) any more.
This saturation coverage (Sky went live to a press conference and 5 Live threw over its schedules) was baffling.
“Tommy who?” would be the reaction of 95% of the public, and not just because Robinson is an alias of his real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.
He’s a hate-inciting, mask-wearing no-mark, who’s named after a football hooligan and has been jailed for assaulting an off-duty police officer and for passport fraud – the ultimate irony for someone vehemently opposed to illegal immigration.
Can you imagine any English person feeling less safe now they know Robinson no longer defends them?
Does the English Defence League truly resonate with anyone but neo-Nazis and shaven-headed thugs who can’t get their kicks at football matches any more?
Surely the answer to that question is this one – how extreme does a party have to be to become too extreme for someone like Tommy Robinson?
And surely the heartening conclusion from the implosion of yet another extreme right-wing party is that the vast majority of British people want nothing to do with them.
We’ve seen them come and go since the 1970s – The National Front, The British Democratic Party, The Constitutional Movement, The British Movement, The British Freedom Party, the British National Party etc.
Three years ago the BNP claimed to be “Britain’s fourth-largest party.”
But after humiliating defeats in May’s council elections, where for the first time since 2001 its stronghold Burnley became BNP-free, Nick Griffin’s party is left with just two councillors in the entire country.
And in the South Shields by-election, its candidate, Lady Dorothy MacBeth Brooke – she of the extreme mahogany fake tan which sat bizarrely with someone not keen on multiculturalism – finished sixth.
In 2009 the BNP’s membership stood at more than 12,000. The last available figures showed it down to 4,872, with fewer than 2,000 of those said to be actively engaged in the party.
And next May I’m convinced vigilant northerners will boot out Nick Griffin and Andrew Brons, who sneaked in as MEPs due to mass apathy over the European elections.
It would be naive to think Britain doesn’t have problems with race relations, immigration, Islamist fanaticism and the taking for granted of the white working class by mainstream parties.
But thankfully this country isn’t France, Holland, Italy or Greece where the far right wins shedloads of votes.
The one good aspect of 5 Live’s coverage of Robinson’s standing down was it went on to the streets of a northern estate to canvas opinion about the EDL and the majority said they had no truck with right-wing extremism.
Which is something we should feel immensely proud of, because it proves that our long-established tradition of tolerance is more than just a feel-good cliche.

After the heartbreaking news that broke on Tuesday and left the EDL in mourning, those left behind to fester on their lonesome as extremists are now experiencing feelings of bitter resentment.
Their slavish devotion to the career criminal Stephen Lennon has left their pockets empty.
Last night, EDL regional organisers gathered around their
laptops and thrashed out the difficult question of who will become the
new figure head of an organisation that is dying on its knees. It was one of those skype conversations that had more burps than three syllable words.
They had expected Stephen Lennon and Kevin Carroll to join the conversation. They really are dim, aren't they? Neither bothered, unsurprisingly.
The outcome was that the regional organisers shall form a committee with
Tim Ablitt as its chairman. If they can keep it together long enough, they'll have another chat about their future before the end of the month.
Tim Ablitt is an interesting choice as for what for all intents and
purposes is the new leader of the EDL. Hope not Hate have written about
him previously, when he was an organiser of the short-lived EDL political front, British Freedom Party.
Ablitt's trump card was that he held a key role in the EDL's merchandising arm. He probably forgot to mention last night that his company NRNLS is currently under threat of being struck off by Companies House.
While Ablitt was donning the death mask that is the leadership of the dwindling gang of racist thugs, Nazis and would-be terrorists that is the EDL, others have been talking about becoming a fully fledged paramilitary group.
Given that his music career has gone down the pan, I guess that is the last really viable option for a loser like Alex Clowes of "Alex and the Bandits" infamy.
And Mr Abblitt, we'll take you up on your offer. You know the details...

A teenager accused of planning a repeat of the Columbine massacre "glorified" the leader of the English Defence League (EDL), a court has heard.
A manager of a local clothes shop regularly visited by the defendant said the alleged terror plotter had spoken in the store about former EDL leader Tommy Robinson, who resigned from the far-right group yesterday.
"I think he was glorifying Tommy Robinson, whoever he was," the witness said.
The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is on trial accused of stockpiling weapons for a terror attack on his former school in Loughborough, East Midlands.
His sixth-form college, a local mosque, Loughborough University, a cinema and council offices were also named as potential targets, it is alleged.
In a witness statement read to the Old Bailey jury, the manager said the teenager also tried to order a T-shirt with a "German SS" badge.
"He talked about Tommy Robinson who I have heard of but I don't know who he is," he said.
"He also tried to order a Death Skull T-shirt. This is a large German SS badge that would be worn on the collar.
"This is not an item that the shop would stock or be associated with.
"I told him it wasn't something we would stock."
The teenager allegedly wrote in a Che Guevara notebook emblazoned with Swastikas his plans for The New Columbine, the Old Bailey has previously heard.
Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold murdered 12 students and one teacher at Columbine High School in Colorado in 1999 in one of America's worst mass shootings.
In another incident, a schoolboy told police the defendant threatened him with a knife after a confrontation outside a shop.
In a police interview played to the court, the boy said the defendant, wearing a "black cape", black shoes and black trousers, swore at him and his friend in the street as they played a game.
After they confronted him, the teenager pulled out a knife, the boy said.
"I thought I was going to die," he said.
"I wanted to cry."
The boy, who cannot be named, said he was "skimmed" by the weapon as he crouched down to pick up his scooter.
"It looked really sharp," he told police.
"He was aggressive, he wanted to do it."
The defendant, who has Asperger's syndrome, denies a charge of possessing items for the purpose, preparation and instigation of an act of terrorism.
They include nine partially assembled petrol bombs, a quantity of commercial firework powder, a quantity of part-assembled pipe bombs, partially constructed improvised explosive devices (IEDs), quantities of commercial pyrotechnic fuse cords, a stab proof vest, a gas mask, three 0.22 air rifles, one Olympic 0.22 blank-firing pistol and a quantity of ammunition, one 0.22 air pistol, three BB guns, a black military belt containing air gun pellets and a silver cartridge, and one note book containing information about the planning and construction of explosive devices, it is alleged.
The boy also denies one count of possessing a document or record containing information likely to be useful for a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, and a further count of possessing explosives in the form of component parts of IEDs.
The teenager and two other 17-year-old boys have already pleaded guilty to two charges of possessing petrol bombs and component parts of pipe bombs for the use of explosive devices.
The defendant, dressed in a black T-shirt and wearing glasses, has been sitting in the dock with an intermediary throughout the court proceedings.

Just 24 hours after Stephen Lennon officially withdrew from leading the EDL, holes have started to appear in the charade that is the story of the new and improved Tommy Robinson.
Lennon told whoever would listen yesterday that he did not want to be associated with violent racists, yet we can prove this is just another lie.
Speaking on Twitter today, Lennon replied to a comment sent to him by a close friend Andrew Currien.
Currien wrote " tommy me and brothers have stood by your side for years as security and has friends we back you always."
In reply Lennon promised to visit Currien and his fellow EDL bodyguard Steve Eddowes and explain his situation in full.
Lennon wrote "top respect lads, when this dies down gonna pop up to see u Edders etc to fully explain in person"
We can reveal that Andrew Currien was previously jailed for his part in a racist death in 2009.
Currien, from Lanesfield near Wolverhampton, was one of six men convicted in 2009 after a 59 year old man was crushed to death by a car following a violent brawl.
Wolverhampton Crown Court heard how a group of six men including Currien had been out on an all night drinking binge. The men had been driving around the area drinking when they pulled up outside a pub where a local man, Stainton Barrett, approached them asking for a light.
One of the men, Paul Welburn, got out of the car and chased Mr Barratt to his home nearby and Currien, Daryl Rickhuss and David Garner joined him as a fracas broke out with racist comments being hurled by the group of drunk men.
Mr Barrett went into the house and returned with his brother, armed with a hammer and a machete. It was then that Anthony Benson, who had remained in the vehicle, reversed the car crushing Stainton Barrett against his porch wall. Barrett was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Benson was found guilty of causing the death by dangerous driving and was sentenced to six years imprisonment.
Paul Welburn, from Bilston, was sentenced to four years jail after admitting violent disorder.
Andrew Currien along with Rickhuss and Garner- who are also EDL supporters from the Wolverhampton area- were all jailed for 18 months after they pleaded guilty to affray.
Finally, Ian Williams from Lanesfield, was given 18 months imprisonment after admitting conspiracy to pervert the course of justice after he tried to have the car scrapped to cover up the evidence.
Currien and his brother Kevin, regularly acted as bodyguards to the EDL leadership of Stephen Lennon and Kevin Carroll.
Seems a leopard maybe can't change its spots after all.

The past twenty four hours have been the most difficult for the English Defence League (EDL). Even after mass murderer Anders Breivik was citing them as an inspiration, they could rely upon their leadership to humble and humiliate the organisation through to its next disaster.
Yesterday however, the leadership upped and left their rump, graciously conceding them the name so synonymous with racism and drunken brawling, but extricating themselves along the way, from a diminishing gang that currently has followers and “members” before the courts for among other things, terror-related activities.
Whatever the rights and wrongs of yesterday’s announcement and the ensuing circus that followed it, the EDL is rudderless. A rather short statement appeared on their website thanking Lennon and his cousin Kevin Carroll for their services, while also promising to continue their fight as a “non-racist and peaceful” organisation.
For those left behind, and there are many, there was a mixture of anger and disappointment which as the evening wore on predictably descended into drunken threats and bewildering conspiracy theory. For some, the EDL was for life, not just for “Tommeh”. Lennon has now reinvented himself as never having been an extremist, so for those not joining him in his new ventures, it will eventually dawn on them what he thinks of them.
This morning, fury remains in the counter-Jihad street movement. The EDL cow has been well and truly milked over the past four years, but some say it must continue. A few people are likely to throw their name into the ring to lead the group. I feel it will be an impossible task all the same:
Adam Walker: He has little else to do.
Charlie: Very, very popular within the EDL. Holds conferences in pub toilets. Often the first person the EDL want to see when they arrive at pubs.

The news conference being held by the former leaders of the EDL is quite interesting.
They have attacked their former funder Alan Ayling (aka Lake) as being "tight" while US based Muslim-hater Pam Geller is credited with keeping Lennon's family afloat while he was in prison.
At the same time, as he was in prison for passport fraud, Lennon claims that Nazis tried to take over the EDL. I think many people would query his time line.
As we have written previouly, he admits that it was only the murder of Lee Rigby that drew him back into the EDL. The EDL, claims Lennon, has been "part of the problem, not the solution." It sure is nice to know he reads our blogs.
Both he and his cousin Kevin Carroll have decided that street protests are counter-productive, that they had a "shelf life". When asked if he would aologise for terrorising Muslims, Lennon replied "I sincerely apologise, I don't for one minute feel proud of my actions that may have scared people."
In EDL land, what is left of the group has gone further into melt down with the news coming out of the conference.
The good news for Robert Spencer and Pam Geller is that the two former leaders have not turnd their back on them, yet. The Quilliam Foundation, who brokered this "defection", were rightly less charitable towards the pair.
Carroll, who has recently taken to wearing a Christian cross on his lapel described the decisionby he and his cousin as an "enormous leap of faith."
I think you'll find that is for others to do, Kevin.

The telephones have not stopped ringing at the HNH office since this morning’s surprise announcement that the EDL leader-still using the name he uses for criminal purposes, Tommy Robinson, was leaving the EDL. By all accounts, he can no longer keep the EDL's extremists at bay.
Yes, it is big and surprising news. Now in hindsight, a couple of tweets from Stephen Lennon [that's 'Tommy Robinson's' real name] last week, give a little more insight into his announcement. Lennon tweeted that people would have to take him seriously soon.
At around the same time, he was standing on the doorstep and molesting the mail of whom he thought was a political rival. It was, like many victims of EDL intimidation and threats, just another innocent person.
For this, there has been no apology. Nor was there an apology for his and his fellow "defector's" rape lie, that threatened to bring extreme violence to their hometown of Luton.
"Sorry" has not just been the hardest word for the EDL leadership, it has been a foreign word. And we know how they do not like foreigners.
As is our way, we have been for most of the day, "cautiously optimistic" that something that is afoot is to the benefit of the whole country and all of its people, and all of its communities.
There is some concern, that according to the press release, Lennon still believes that he has actually been engaged in a fight against both Islamic and far-right extremism. For those of us on the receiving end while monitoring much of this "battle", the facts remain that if anything, Lennon's EDL gave encouragement to both Neo-Nazis and Islamists. Now, later in the day, it appears that Lennon is just launching another organisation. Nobody knows what the truth is until his press conference tonight.
Lennon's departure also came as a shock to his own supporters, except of course, for the other eleven joining him. His own personal assistant is telling whoever wants to listen, that Lennon is in fact just starting a new organisation-some kind of "think tank" that will probably have as much input as the resident of a "fish tank".
That Lennon has decided not to wind down the EDL is also of interest. After all, he owns it. He and his cousin Kevin Carroll were/are the sole owners of the group. Nobody voted them in-nobody voted them out. Nick Griffin of the BNP, regularly humiliated by Lennon, is jumping for joy. Griffin has already said that Lennon's departure means that "the street counter jihad movement can come into its own".
What he means is, if there is any cash left, he'd like to get his hands on it. Expect also Paul Prodromou and Tony Curtis to be throwing their hats into any ring that decides the EDL needs new leader.
Whatever happens, the EDL was not the cause of anti-Muslim hatred in this country, nor was it the sole vehicle or outlet for Islamaphobia, racism or violence.
However, a "sorry" for his role in the sickening cycle of violence, racism and intimidation meted out by the EDL would be welcomed. So would the answer to many, many more questions.

A convicted offender who fled Nottingham before his trial is now back in custody.
Guramit Singh Kalirai, 31, of Ullswater Crescent, Bramcote, was arrested by officers in Long Eaton yesterday (Sunday 6 October 2013)
Kalirai was found guilty of an attempted robbery at Simply Hydro, in Wigwam Lane, Hucknall, on Thursday 2 May 2013. He was sentenced in his absence to six and a half years in prison at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday 24 September 2013.
The court heard that Kalirai, along with two accomplices, entered the property at about 12.30pm and targeted a shop assistant demanding money.
They pinned him to the ground and bound him while making threats to slash his throat.

There's a lot of tiny Nazi organisations in this country at the moment and few of them get along with each other. It makes you wonder who could have thought that Hitler would ever be such a divisive figure?
Still, rather than spend hours wondering what goes on behind their closed doors when their Mothers are out and the television has nothing but lots of apparent multicultural and Communist propaganda on like cooking shows, Country File and Match of the Day, we send along Eddie Stanton to find out.
Sometimes Edwyn likes to be known as Edwyn Stampton or Eddie Stampton or Edwyn Stanton. Sometimes he's also known as Mark Pringle. Variety would be the spice of his life except for its obvious ethnic connotations.
Edwyn's been around the Nazi movement in this country for years and years, since he was knee-high to an Aryan grasshopper. Whilst most kids were dressing up as cowboys or Indians, Edwyn was donning a large pair of black boots and dressing up like a complete idiot to stand with a swastika flag on street corners in East London. He made his name by hanging around with the hard-men he so liked in the British Movement like Nicky Crane, who treated Edwyn like his own personal errand boy.
Later, Edwyn moved from the British Movement to the National Front (NF) then onto the British National Party (BNP) and then Combat 18, Blood and Honour, the White Nationalist Party, the British People's Party, the National Front (again), Prison (for violently assaulting his partner), the EDL,The South East Alliance (SEA), English National Resistance (ENR), and probably some groups that even we have not heard of yet.
He has not been known for his popularity. He was chased away from a Loyalist pub in Southport a couple of years ago over a financial transaction that went rather awry. He is also accused of ripping off fellow Aryan maestro Kevin Watmough, after a short lived badge-selling venture the two had to maintain their recreational activities ended up with Edwyn taking all of the cash from Nazi badge sales and keeping the recreational materials for his own pleasure.
The South East Alliance (SEA) had to dump him earlier this year after one drunken incident, where Edwyn got a little bit too lippy with a highly placed Scottish Loyalist who was on a visit to London and in the company of a London based Loyalist who knew Edwyn from a long way back.
We thought there was nowhere left for our Edwyn to go on the far-right. Certainly, organising Blood and Honour gigs has not been his forte. He claimed to people that he had just sold a large house that he owned in Wandsworth, but in reality, he neither sold or owned Wandsworth Prison from where he was released after viciously assaulting his girl friend.
We're now pleased to announce Edwyn has a found a temporary new political home. And a home where you can wear whatever you want. Edwyn has finally made friends with the New British Union (NBU) who love to dress up and park cars dressed like idiots.
Edwyn was a special guest of the NBU at their conference on the weekend. Let's hope nobody parted with their cash without receiving their goods first.
Well done Edwyn and Gary. May your three weeks of friendship bring you both what you so richly deserve.

Last week we posted that Guramit Singh Kalirai, a former leading figure with the English Defence League was on the run after being convicted of a violent robbery.
Guramit Singh Kalirai with two accomplices tied up a shop assistant and threatened to slash his throat in an attempted robbery at a Hydroponic shop in Hucknall, Notts.
Kalirai absconded before the start of the trial and was sentenced to six-and-a-half-years in prison in his absence. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
We believed his EDL activities had come to an end after he became a hate figure for some sections of the far right but this appears to be not the case.
Guramit has secretly continued to be heavily involved with the EDL leadership; in fact he has secretly been in charge of their official Twitter account as recently as March 2013.
Speaking to the BBC, EDL leader Tommy Robinson aka Stephen Lennon attempted to distance himself and the EDL from the fugitive, claiming that he was no longer active with the far right organisation.
However, Guramit met up with Lennon and Kevin Carroll in Luton shortly before going on the run.
We can now reveal that Guramit Singh Kalirai is intending to hand himself into police after posting a lengthy message on his personal Facebook page.
"As you all probably already know,Im wanted by the police for a crime committed in Nottingham I had no involvement with, the judge recently sentenced to me in my absence to 6 and a half years for attempted robbery of a hydroponics shop (of which I would have to serve 3 years and 3 months)
One of the persons involved in this 'David Mura' is a good friend of mine, and after hearing of his remand after the incident I had full confirmation from friends it was himself involved, 'Andrew wheelhouse' also a very good friend of mine I know for a 100% fact was not involved, like myself.
The victim and 6 witnesses involved in this case were all asked to I.D myself while viewing pictures of me on a computer screen, the same picture the police and the left have been tirelessly blogging, ALL 7 CONFIRMED TO THE POLICE THAT IT WAS NOT ME THAT ATTEMPTED TO ROB THE STORE.
My fingerprint's were found on some duck tape Mr Mura used, Mr Mura gave me lifts on a daily basis, as i'm not driving, in his work van which I can confirm I have handled on a daily basis to move into the back of the van so I can make room to sit in the front along with other tools and building accessories.
My fingerprints were also found inside the premises which I can also confirm I have visited on numerous occasions with a friend of mine including Mr Mura.
I had witnesses to come to court to testify I had been to the shop with them before, and that on the day of the crime I was with them, due to police intimidation, these witnesses back out, I fully accept this, I wouldn't want my friends getting into trouble on my behalf.
When this came to light and my solicitor also confirming the police are playing a very harsh game with me for whatever reason, I decided to not turn up to the trial knowing this was not going to be a fair outcome. There was no way I would of been able to sort out new legal representation from behind bars.
I am currently seeking new legal representation down south, i'm in the middle of talks with a few barristers that think they can definitely help me once I hand myself in, this has been a point made very clear to me.
I have been in contact with metropolitan police and have agreed to hand myself in the second my new legal representation is put in place.
Id like to apologise to my family and my friends, and their family's that I hold in high regard, I never meant for anything like this to ever happen to me, I've always tried my hardest to keep my nose clean, and id like to say thank you for all your support, its been nearly 3 weeks since I've had contact with them and its very hard for me as i'm used to speaking and meeting them on a daily basis, this has been the first time in my life I haven't hugged my mother or brother for such a long time, we usually meet everyday, I have a strong family bond, quicker I hand myself in the quicker I know they can visit and finally see me.
At times like this you know who the real ones are around you and who are the fake ones, thanks for all the support from the genuine ones in my life, and up yours to the ones talking bollocks about me, from the local pubs to the blog sites of the left, before you point and judge me make sure your own hands are clean, your civilisation is under threat and I seem to be the topic of your gossip, you should be ashamed.
Mr Guramit Singh Kalirai"

A 16-YEAR-OLD neo-Nazi plotted a Columbine-inspired school massacre using pipe bombs, knives, and a crossbow, the Old Bailey heard today (weds).
The English Defence League supporter stockpiled homemade bombs, terrorist manuals, and an array of weapons as he planned attacks on his former school and the college where he was studying for his A-Levels.
He kept a notebook of potential targets, including the local mosque, REEL cinema, Loughborough University and council offices, and dubbed plans for an armed assault on his former school as 'the new Columbine', it is said.
Inspired by the violent Nick Cave film Outlaw and Heath Ledger's portrayal of Batman nemesis the Joker in the Dark Knight, the teen allegedly drew up a list of teachers and pupils he wanted to murder.
He scrawled the mantra 'When order fails, violence prevails' in his notebook, which had Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara on the front alongside slogans including 'EDL: No Surrender', 'British and Proud', and Nazi Swastika drawings.
The teenager, who is now 17 and cannot be named because of his age, had a Nazi flag above his bed and wrote essays on his hatred of Muslims.
'You will be considering whether he is just a misfit, or whether he is something altogether more sinister and serious', said prosecutor Max Hill QC.
'In light of the items he assembled, bombs etc, in light of what he wrote in this notebook, you need to consider whether he was in fact arrested in February this year before he could pursue any further a plan for, or intention, either to terrorise pupils and staff at his college against whom he bore a grudge, or whether he wanted to target other locations.'
The teenager, who has Asperger's Syndrome, is accused of plotting a terrorist attack, having a terrorist manual, and possessing parts for an improvised explosive.
He and two other 17-year-old boys have already admitted possessing petrol bombs and pipe bombs.
Mr Hill said the 'sheer weight' of weapons the defendant is accused of possessing at his home in Loughborough set him apart from the other two boys.
'For any average young man, that list is startling', he said.
'The eye stops at references to partially assembled petrol bombs, it stops upon the reference to pipe bombs, and upon the stab proof vest, on firearms and rifle pistols and the crossbow.'
The jury were shown extracts from the teenager's notebook, allegedly outlining his attack plans.
He wrote: 'Before we go into school gates, enter K block and chain both exits shut.
'Enter each classroom taking out the teachers.
'Use explosives to eliminate most of the students.'
Mr Hill said: 'What does he mean by plans and tactics for operation the new Columbine?
'Columbine is a high school in Colorado, USA, which was the scene of an infamous mass shooting in 1999.
'Two students of the college entered and killed more than a dozen of their fellow students and ultimately committed suicide on their own school premises.'
The defendant, had drawn in his notebook a stick figures with arrows showing where knives, a machete, a sawn-off air rifle, ammunition, and pipe bombs would be concealed inside a trench coat, the court heard.
Mr Hill said other parts of the book contain rantings against Muslims, calling for mass deportation to 'stop the spread of Sharia law'.
'He is talking about British and European people rising up and fighting Islamic fascism that is sweeping the world', said Mr Hill.
'He is a member of the EDL Leicester division and a supporter of the Knights Templar, which we suggest are far right wing British National movements.'
In among plans to make bombs out of jerry cans, which could be detonated by mobile phone, the teenager wrote about planning to bomb Loughborough Mosque, the court heard.
He wrote: 'There's too many Muslims in the UK and Europe, so we must stop them coming over here and send the ones already over here back home before they take over European governments and put Sharia Law in place.'
The teenager, who is supported in the dock by an intermediary because of his Asperger's, denies possessing an article for a purpose connected with terrorism, possessing a document likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, and possessing an article for a purpose connected with terrorism.
He has pleaded guilty to possessing an offensive weapon.
The trial continues.
